The panels split the cardigan into three quiet scenes stitched side by side: cream on the left where a crooked haunted house rises under a crescent moon, black down the center where a ghost drifts past a spiderweb near the collar, and a warm orange block on the right that carries the whole thing into porch-light territory. Along the bottom, block letters spell out HALLOWEEN in the same cream and black as the rest of the knit, running the width of the button placket like a banner nobody had to ask for. Two Cats, Two Very Different Moods

Near the haunted house, one black cat sits low and still, tail curled around its paws, watching the windows like it already knows what’s inside. On the orange side, a second cat arches hard across the panel, spine up, ready to hiss at something just out of frame. It is a small, specific contrast, calm on one side and startled on the other, and it gives the design a little tension that a single cat wouldn’t carry on its own. Bats cut across the space between them, and a scatter of tiny stars fills in the black background so nothing feels empty.

We built this one for the people who treat October as its own season rather than a single night. Someone standing on porch duty for trick-or-treaters, someone running a cider stand at a fall market, someone who keeps exactly one cardigan aside for pumpkin patches and horror movie nights, that’s who this piece was cut for. Podluna designed the moon-and-house side to sit close to the collar, so it reads clearly even buttoned up against an October chill, and the HALLOWEEN lettering stays visible whether the cardigan is worn open over a T-shirt or buttoned to the top.

How Long Does This Halloween Cardigan Stay In The Fall Rotation?

Past the thirty-first, the black and orange color-blocking still reads as autumn rather than costume, so it tends to stay in reach through the rest of fall. The haunted house and moon panel especially holds up on its own once the ghost and bats feel more seasonal than spooky, which is usually somewhere around Thanksgiving.
